Integration
Via Zapier / APISend Microsoft 365 Documents for E-Signature
WoltSign connects to Microsoft 365 via Zapier or REST API. A direct OneDrive and SharePoint file picker is on the roadmap.
Use cases
What teams do with WoltSign and Microsoft 365
- Pick a Word document from OneDrive and send it for signing without downloading it
- Automate contract signing when a new file is added to a SharePoint document library
- Save completed signed documents back to SharePoint for compliance record-keeping
Workflow
How it works
Three steps from trigger to completed signature. Full setup detail lives in the documentation.
- 1
Export your Word document to PDF from Microsoft Word, or use a Zapier step to convert it automatically.
- 2
A Zapier Zap picks up the file from OneDrive or SharePoint and creates a WoltSign signing request with the file attached.
- 3
On completion, a Zapier step saves the signed PDF back to the original SharePoint folder or a designated archive location.
FAQ
Microsoft 365 integration FAQ
- Can WoltSign sign Word files directly?
- WoltSign works with PDF and common document formats. If you have a Word file, export it to PDF first. A Zapier step can automate this conversion using Microsoft's Office 365 Zapier actions.
- Does this work with SharePoint as well as OneDrive?
- Yes. Both SharePoint and OneDrive files are accessible via Microsoft's Zapier integration. Set the trigger to watch a specific SharePoint document library or OneDrive folder.
- Is this integration available to all Microsoft 365 plans?
- The integration requires a Zapier account with Microsoft 365 Zapier actions, which are available on Zapier's standard and above plans. The WoltSign side is included in your WoltSign plan.
- Where are setup instructions?
- Full setup documentation is at /documentation. Microsoft 365 and WoltSign each have published Zapier apps with setup guides on Zapier's directory.
