What signers see when they open a signing link
Recipients complete assigned fields without a WoltSign account. Here is the signing experience.

Signers interact with WoltSign through a link, not the full app. Knowing what they see helps you place fields correctly and set expectations with clients or employees before you hit send.
No account required
Recipients open `/env/:envelopeId` in a browser. They do not create a WoltSign login. The link identifies the envelope and, when needed, the signer through a signer id parameter on the document URL.
Document list and progress
Signers first see the documents assigned to them with completion progress. Multi-document envelopes show each file until all assigned fields are done.
Complete fields on the PDF
Opening a document shows the PDF with highlighted fields. Signers tap each field to fill text, check boxes, or open the signature capture dialog. Required fields block finish until complete.
Signature dialog
Signature Image fields open a dialog to draw, type, or upload a signature. Upload supports JPG, PNG, and GIF. Initials fields use a similar capture flow with smaller canvas.
Attachment fields
When you placed an Attachment field on that role, signers upload a file before completing the document. Common uses include insurance proofs or scanned IDs alongside a lease.
After completion
Signers see confirmation when they finish their step. On the sender side, the envelope detail page updates to show Completed for that role and moves sequential envelopes to the next signer. Track status from Track signers, copy links, and send reminders.
Legal context
Whether a signature is enforceable depends on jurisdiction, document type, and the process around intent and consent.
